An experience of its own in Shediac, the Lobster Capital of the World!

Au Cachet Acadien Bed & Breakfast, formerly known as Do Ré Mi Bed & Breakfast, has had the Poirier family welcoming guests into their home for over 15 years.

The home was built in 1912 as a summer home to Senator John McDonald, his wife and 5 children. The family originated from Nova Scotia. The Poirier’s made this historical house their home in the late 1980’s and have enjoyed its quirks and charm ever since.

All rooms Au Cachet Acadien Bed & Breakfast include a full breakfast, free parking, no-cost wifi, air conditioning and are non-smoking. Your hosts are also happy to welcome you into a bilingual environment, where guests can be served in French or English.

“We strive to provide our guests with a home-away-from-home atmosphere where they can feel welcomed and relaxed. Most of all, we relish our large veranda overlooking Shediac’s Main Street where, nightly, our diverse guests can share a drink and indulge in an abundance of incredible life stories.

Once again, we look forward to a great summer Au Cachet Acadien Bed & Breakfast!”
